    Hi there

Really helpful recent update, thanks. It’s fixed a number of issues I’ve been battling to find work-arounds for.

The issue I’m still having is when using ‘Load more’ pagination on a (Divi shop) page of a pre-selected category (/shop/category/sub-category/).

The ‘Load more’ button does not show after the initial page load, but does show correctly after refreshing by selecting any tag/attribute.

I thought perhaps I could get around this by using your custom event wpf_ajax_success to force a refresh?

If so, could you give me an idea of the js code I need to use?

    Many thanks for your thoughts!

    Hi,

The Load More is not part of your Theme, that should only show when you are using the Filter, or it doesn’t work when you first select any element from the Product filter? If that’s the case, please send us a link to your website, to the page where you added the Product Filter, so we can check.

Hi, thanks for your response and offer to check it out.

    1) I take your point that Load more is not in the theme and therefore the link:

    https://development.jossrossiter.com/product-category/prints/african-prints/

does not actually run the filter when the page loads and the page takes its pagination settings from the theme. In this case it shows the page number navigation initially but after a filter is activated the Load more button works correctly.

I guess that’s how it’s designed to work, but it would improve the user experience if the Load more button could be shown on initial page load. Is there a way I could force a filter action after page load using your hook wpf_ajax_success?

    2) Now if I run the filter on page load using the URL:

    https://development.jossrossiter.com/shop/?wpf=wpf_5f8b0354895c4&wpf_cols=4&wpf_print-collection=african-prints

the Load more button display but is inactive.

This is the same whether the theme ‘Show navigation’ is set to yes or no.

Hope that makes it a bit clearer and you find it repeatable?

    Hi,

Your Theme doesn’t support Ajax navigation ( Load More works by Ajax ), so the filter must be initiated in order to be able to use the Load More button, that’s why it doesn’t work if you visit a pre-filtered page like this: https://development.jossrossiter.com/shop/?wpf=wpf_5f8b0354895c4&wpf_cols=4&wpf_print-collection=african-prints please contact your Theme’s developers and ask them if they can integrate a similar or the same load more to your Theme.

    OK. Thanks for that.

I’ve got a better understanding of the issue and I’ll take up with Elegant Themes (Divi).

    I’ll mark this as resolved.

    Cheers.
