Really sorry for the inconvenience caused. We are already aware of this issue and the good news is we have already FIXED this. We will release a new version as soon as possible. If you simply update the Essential Addons for Elementor after the next release then you will get it fixed.
However, In the meantime, please download & install this updated version from HERE

I’ve updated the plugin again (have it set to automatic) and the ajax still doesn’t load.
When can we expect the new version? Or did I just upload the newest version?

It seems strange. Would you kindly make sure that you have downloaded and installed the updated version correctly from my attached link?
If yes, Can you please try doing the following & try again: To regenerate assets, you can go to wp-admin -> Essential Addons then, switch to the ‘Tools’ tab and hit the ‘Regenerate Assets’ button. Check out this screenshot: https://d.pr/i/iBccDw
Also, make sure to Regenerate Files from wp-admin -> Elementor -> Tools -> General as well. Check out this screenshot: https://d.pr/i/N6WC1d
If the issue still persists, please try clearing your browser cache (by pressing shift+ctrl+R) or try another browser too.
