    Hi, the logic behind this plugin is wonderful and should be in core.

    However, for now your great plgin works well.

    I checked why my pages loaded so slow, on my local XAMPP test server as well as a live/online testserver (private fast server). According to P3 plugin profiles in both cases your plugin added between 5-8 seconds per page load.
    When disabling the plugin, the load times went down to under 2 secs (core + theme + plugins).

    Is this something you recognize and can anything be done about it?

    Thank you for your kind words and for reporting this.

    The plugin is built to be very scalable and tested in environments with a lot of content (tens of thousands of posts, pages, tags, categories).

    It’s been a while since I used the P3 plugin to profile it, but the tests only showed insignificant footprints.

    What other plugins do you have on your site? And did you try deactivating these?
    How big is your site (number of posts, pages, categories etc.)
    What is your version of PHP and MySQL?
    How many sidebars did you create (and with how many conditions)?
