Many thanks for sharing these additional insights @atozinsi.
Before we perform some checks with possible browser extensions, given the issue only occurs in a regular browsing session, please perform the steps below, and let me know if the same occurs:
- Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
- From a regular browser session (not incognito), navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
- From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
- View your Site Kit dashboard one more
You can exit troubleshooting mode afterwards.
If the error no longer appears, this includes a possible third party plugin conflict. I’ll advise you on how to determine more on this.
If the same message appears, after following the checks above, please share your Site Health information, and also expand on the object dropdown that appears in your browser console, by clicking on the arrow. After doing so please share the details shown here.
Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you!

Can you confirm that the same error appeared while using troubleshooting mode, from the steps suggested above?
If so I’ll try to recreate an environment similar to your own, while testing some of the caching/optimisation plugins you have active, and their configurations.
yes @jamesosborne , the Same error appeared while troubleshooting mode and I followed the steps mentioned above.
In that case please allow me some time to create a GitHub issue and set up an environment similar to your own. I’ll have an update on this at some stage today.
While I’m doing so, if you’re willing to perform some additional testing, can you share what browser extensions you have active?
Sorry, @jamesosborne I have no knowledge of WordPress and testing. But I can share the extensions that I use in the browser.
1. Similar web
2. Grammarly
3. AdBlockThat’s all. But if you share the steps to test, I can do the test.
Thanks for the update. The steps I was going to perform included setting up a site with the same plugins, along with using the same browser extensions.
As the error doesn’t occur incognito, which no browser extensions active (unless you’ve enabled these incognito mode), can you temporarily disable the browser extensions above, which you kindly shared? After doing so please check for the same dashboard error once more, after refreshing the Site Kit dashboard page.
Just to keep you updated on this I’ve created the following GitHub issue:
https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/5705I’ll perform some checks myself next, in particular with the browser extensions active. Ad Blockers can impact the Site Kit dashboards functionality, so I suspect this may be the cause. I’ll keep you updated should I be able to recreate the same error. In the meantime please do inform me how you get on with temporarily disabling your current browser extensions before checking once more.
Hi @jamesosborne , Sorry for the late reply and now it worked on the normal browser. I do disable all the extensions and clear the caches and restart the browser. Now its worked fine in a both normal and incognito browser.
Thanks for your time and support regarding clearing issue.
No problem, appreciate you sharing these additional insights. While I can check the same browser extensions today can you confirm that the AdBlock extension you had in use was this one? I suspect this may be the particular extension resulting in your error, with maybe a particular configuration impacting the Site Kit dashboard.
Feel free to check enabling your other extensions once more and checking again.
Hi @jamesosborne , yes this the extensions I used. I think you are right. After receiving this message from you I check while enabling the ad block extension same error showed but after disabling this culprit (Ad Block) it worked fine.
Tons and tons of thanks for you man. special kudos for you.
And thank you for all your troubleshooting efforts! Great that you were able to determine the cause. If we find anything that we can address on the plugin side of things we’ll do from the related GitHub issue, based on your support topic. Thanks again!
i dont have any extension, but why i still face this error james?
oh i see, it caused by my ssl configuration i guess, now the plugin can work normally
@rijalimnida Thanks for reporting the same. If this error remains feel free to open an individual support topic and we can investigate this further, individually from your support topic you open. You may wish to also share your Site Kit information after creating, if you’re like us to troubleshoot your current environment, should your SSL configuration not be the cause. Thank you!
