  • can you please try disabling all other plugins to verify if there is a plugin conflict? if not, please also switch to twentyfifteen temporarily to check if there is a theme issue…

I’ve done both suggestions, and the issue still persists. As I mentioned before, the plugin has been working wonderfully for the past 6 months (both on my dev server and on my clients live site), however, only after updating both WordPress and the plugin did the issue begin. Are there any compatibility issues you’ve noticed? My last resort, I guess, is to roll back WordPress and your plugin. Can you send me the previous version somehow? Download link, github, etc…?

I should also note that now the maps are also not displaying in the WordPress admin console. Neither the existing ones, or if I create a new map marker or layer. Could this maybe be a Google Maps API issue?

not sure, anyway make sure the Google Maps API doesnt get loaded multiple times (sometimes themes also embedd the js needed for Google Maps for example)

Anyway due to limited ressources I am not able to offer an analysis on your server via a temporary admin account for users of the free version anymore – which would be the next step in finding the reason for your issue. Pro users in contrast can request that better support if they want to…
    best,

    Robert
