Loading shortcode problem with Rank Math SEO

Hello,

For some products, the audio player doesn’t laod even if the shortcode is there.

It happens to less than 10 products on over more than 150 products.

In this page, you will see that the audio player is not loading [ redundant link deleted ]

It’s a Themify layout part that is there to display the audio player :

when I click the link : /tbuilder-layout-part/bas-de-produits-dans-description-unconditional/ to see the layout part, I see the audio player loading, but not in the page of the album : [ redundant link deleted ]

I request help from Themify, here is the answer:

The issue is caused by Rankmath SEO plugin, which I’m not sure why because there is no error. If you disable Rankmath, the audio playlist will render: https://share.zight.com/NQum2Jr8. Or if you insert the same shortcode on the Builder content (https://share.zight.com/L1ulLNQK), it will show as well. Can you contact Rankmath to check this issue?

I want to add something.

The problem doesn’t appeared in themify layout parts, neither on pages, but only on products (woommerce), but not individual products, only grouped product (and only when Rank Math SEO plugin is activated), but not for all grouped product.

A WordPress plugin based on the jPlayer jQuery plugin. Allows multiple playlists and supports multiple uploads.

It always have worked with every plugins, and still works.

But maybe I have to tell you that this option jQuery Migrate in Themify settings : PERFORMANCE

is Enabled (Only enable this if your plugin(s) use the deprecated jQuery versions.)

This website have been created before the big migration.

But really, that’s the first time it does this, but only with Rank Math SEO plugin.

Hello @isabelleroger,

The plugin you mentioned seems to be very outdated. The only reference we could find to that plugin was a GitHub repository that has not been touched for 11 years.

If there’s a more up to date version of the plugin, do let us know the link in the WordPress repository so we can check it.

Otherwise, support for a plugin so old that has not been properly tested with the latest versions of WordPress and PHP, is not something we would consider at the moment.

I know that this is an old plugin but it works we every other plugins that I installed in the website.

So, conclusion, I will have to deactivate Rank Math SEO because, meanwhile, I have many long weeks to recreate it with another audio plugin. Themify has one, I will try to recreate with this one. Otherwise, I have searched for others but didn’t find a free one that I like. I am sure there are other free plugin out there, but I don’t know them for now.

Unfortunately, we can’t do anything from our end, since the plugin you’re using was created a long time ago and it has not been updated to match the current WordPress and PHP standards. You can disable Rank Math while you’re able to migrate to another audio player plugin.
