Through @tropauer I found that RokAjaxSearch v1.21 breaks Redirection (version 1.25 (the latest) is fine). I will use v1.21 to make Redirection more resistant, and hopefully that will also help with Yoast problems.
@radcon are you also using Cloudflare by any chance?
Not on this website, John. But a powerful cache system at server’s level. It might interfere.
I confirm that updating RokAjaxSearch to version 1.25 everything works fine on my install.
(I’m not experiencing conflicts with Yoast Seo plugin.)
Thank you very much John!
Hi John, I’m afraid I’ve just updated to 2.7.1 version and the problem hasn’t gone.
Best,
Silvino
same here, only on one website, unable to replicate:
* no console errors
* cache cleared
* defined REDIRECTION_FLYING_SOLO
* ver 2.7.1
* wp 4.8.1
* php 7.1
EDIT:
issue happened after a failed bulk delete action of 39 entries while filtering 404s by “.css” on second page.
logout-login apparently solved (in my case)
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@johnny5 I’m having the same issue with the plugin. I love the plugin but now it’s stuck on “Loading the bits”. I updated the Redirection plugin today to latest version.
I am on WordPress 4.8.1. I purged cache completely on Clouldflare. I disabled and enabled Yoast. Nothing helps…
Can you help?
2.7.2 has been released with more tweaks that should help here, as well as better error output. It should now not get stuck on ‘loading the bits’.
There’s been a mixed bag of problems ranging from other plugins, server security measures, Cloudflare, old browsers, and plain old weirdness.
If you are still can’t access the plugin even after installing 2.7.2 then it would be super handy to have access to your site – if this is ok then just contact me through my website.
