Yep, I have had reports of slow load times recently and I believe its due to the impression and click storage in the DB. Are you actively using this data?
If so, have you set the expiry times to something reasonable (6 to 12 hours)? This is a short term repair. A better option that was released in the latest version is the ability to push the click and impression tracking to your GA account. This is now the recommended way to track your adverts.
If not then there are options to remove the tracking all together and just use AKP as a way to easily add advertising to your site.

Thanks so much! I just disabled the impression tracking and then the speed improved with 90%. Thanks :).
No problem. Like I said though, thats a quick fix. I do recommend using the GA version – Merely keeping the local tracking for previous users
