Local Area Security ‘WordPressified’

I have been running the L.A.S . project for the last three years. We have gone from PostNuke to Mambo and now to WordPress. My reasoning is that we get a lot of traffic and have been Slashdotted 5-6 times. So from looking at the lightweight (aka fat-free) coding of WP it would seems to be suited to handle the traffic well. Plus it seems to be coded with decent security in mind. Which I like. . . 😉
