local development file persmission

    If I develop locally then upload all the files to the server do I have to reset permissions, or do they reset when they get uploaded? I’m asking this because I have a lot of permissions issues with XAMPP locally so I have to set more permissions than I would like, but don’t want to to transfer to a live page.
