• Just installed WordPress and it works great running on the apache server blah blah mysql ect… but when i go to connect to the server from a different pc on the network via http://192.168.1.101 it displays the text and links but the style is missing so its just all text, no formatting or anything…also clicking the links yields a ‘cannot connect to localhost’ by firefox…

I’d like to get it working locally before i move on, any advice helps!

    Thanks,

  • Look in wp-admin->Settings->General. Do you see ‘localhost’ in the two URL fields near the top? If you do, set those URLs to use your server’s (LAN) static IP address instead of ‘localhost’ and it will work inside the LAN.
