    Hi,
My client is not using the big names hosting provider like siteground, godaddy, hostgator, wpengine, etc

Clients are using local hosting provider and local vps provider. Can I still use migrate guru to migrate my client websites?

Then, when the migration is done:
    – do you need to change the domain DNS to point to the new web hosting?
    – do you need to have a similar hosting environment on the new web hosting? for example, you are using PHP8.2 and Nginx on the old website/hosting. Should you use the same setup on the new web hosting?

    Hey @dzulfriday ,

We support migrating to any server/hosts and not just the major hosting providers. You may use the manual migration method.

    – Do you need to change the domain DNS to point to the new web hosting?

You may change the DNS settings depending on your requirements.

    – Do you need to have a similar hosting environment on the new web hosting? For example, you are using PHP 8.2 and Nginx on the old website/hosting. Should you use the same setup on the new web hosting?

It is recommended to use the same setup as the previous hosting to ensure the smooth functioning of the site.
