Hello! Thanks for the comment and the great suggestions.
1) I will work on adding a “Duplicate” functionality. This shouldn’t be difficult and makes a ton of sense.
2) The “To Feature Post” currently connects the popup button to the feature post. ie, if you have a map with Locations on it, this button will send the user to the Location Post from the map. It doesn’t connect with a separate post inside WordPress.
3) This is a nice idea – maybe something for further down the line. Pulling the title and featured image is certainly possible but this is a bit more complex.
4) Can you clarify here what you mean? Are you creating a Location with a Marker? Perhaps you can send a link to a Location where you changed the marker color but it’s not showing up properly?
Thanks again.
I would be happy if you have a look on my map. I was putting 2 locations there. With “pointer” I understood the little arrows pointing the popup to the marker, am I correct?

Edit: I noted, the little arrow is only with the wrong color when pointing up. Pointing down works with the correct color.
Well, again, I am really looking forward to future updates. On my map you see what I am up to as a travel blogger that shares his travel posts on a map rather than only by categories; maybe this usecase is interesting for you, since I haven’t found anything out there where you are free to combine nice maps from mapbox with markers on the map for posts

@mapster I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.
If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.
Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us escalating this to the plugins team.
It’s never necessary to do that. Here’s why.
There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.
You get the idea.
Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.
These issues are almost all fixed in 0.5.4!
