Strange and recent problem – when I attempt to enter a location, the search produces a list of locations, but when I attempt to select, the list disappears. This DOES NOT happen on a sub-domain where I also have Events Manager loaded. Reinstalled, but it did not resolve the problem, but it did leave me with the problem of restoring my events. So –

    1. Is there a fix for the disappearing location list?
    2. What/where is the database for the events, so I can restore from backup?

When I attempt to auto-fill any field – the list populates after I type a few characters, but disappears when I attempt to select. This started happening after I added an add-on domain. Not sure the two are related though.

    hi @lisamiller,

this is the same on all browsers? also, what do you mean by “This started happening after I added an add-on domain.” ?

It does this for Firefox and Safari. In IE, I can click on an item in the list, but the item does not fill the form field.

My http://www.walruspublishing.com site it the primary domain on Bluehost. I bought another domain stlward15.org and I am using word press on it. The files for this domain are within the public_html which is within the walruspublishing.com file structure. The new domain I bought was “added” to the existing domain file structure.

you’re hijacking this thread 🙂 ask on a new question if need be, but short answer is, we moved to CPTs from a tables solution, and this has benefits when searching, reducing crazy table joins.

you haven’t indicated (or i missed it) whether you’ve tested this after deactivating other plugins and/or reverting to the default WP theme, you need to do that first to rule out possibilities of conflicts.

I did deactivate the other plugins. I tried a different wp theme. I don’t know what the default theme is, however.

Twenty Twelve is the current default theme.

    esmi –

Thank you and everyone else on this thread for your help. I put in the default theme. When I did, I went ahead and disabled all the plugins. Then reactivated the theme I wanted to use and the plugins one at a time. I must have missed one when I did it the first time because I was able to isolate the culprit! SweetCaptcha doesn’t seem to play well with my other plugins! Problem found. Really a relief, and I wouldn’t have gone back to do this again without the prompting to try the the default theme.
