I’ve done every kind of test and never was able to reproduce the same issue.
Are you sure you don’t have also a single page open in another tab and sometimes you save that page?
For example, let’s say you have a page called “sample-page”.
You are in the Singles settings and you have the row related to “sample-page”, but you also have on another tab the page “sample-page” open.
The settings of the row related to “sample-page” in the matrix may be overridden by the settings of the single page. The single page maybe even auto-saved.
Do you know what I mean?
Let me know if this could be a possible cause. If not so, we will investigate deeper.
Thank you for providing the helpful feedback. I did not consider the auto-save as a possible point of conflict. That is probably what was happening. I am marking this resolved for now. If I notice it happening again, I’ll check to make sure I don’t have other editors open before contacting you. Thank you!
This problem is occurring again. This time I made sure I am not currently editing the page in another tab. However, I was previously editing the page in another tab. I don’t know if that matters, but I closed that tab, refreshed the matrix, changed the lock setting and saved, but the lock settings do not save.
I am using firefox and I have the number of pages set to 109. I don’t know if either matters. I have been working in the Singles -> Pages today, and earlier the lock setting was saving. Now when I just worked on two new rows the lock setting did not save. When I refresh the page it is unlocked again. But all the disable checkboxes did save. I have to go edit the page to apply the lock.
