Hi @sometimesgabs,
Yes there is a way to do this!
If you open the lesson with the quiz on it in the LifterLMS Builder, there is an option on the lesson settings to “Require Passing Grade for Quiz” This setting will lock the lesson so that students must pass the quiz before advancing.
I hope this helps!
Please let us know if you have any further questions!
Thanks and take care,
Hello,
Oh, yes, I know if a lesson has a quiz to complete it, they will have to do the quiz, but the way you say will lock the current lesson(the one with quiz), no the next lesson. I said this because I already had “Require Passing Grade for Quiz” actived, and just “lock” the current lesson.
Cheers.
Hi @sometimesgabs
Are you trying to get the lessons on a prerequisite system or a drip system where students only get courses on certain days or if a previous lesson was completed?
I apologize for the confusion! If you don’t mind providing us with a bit of further clarification on the set up you are trying to achieve we are more than happy to tell you the best way to accomplish it!
Thanks and take care,
I think is the first choice,
I have a few lessons, but I have 2 scenarios.
I want to lock the lesson’s navigation bar in these situations…
1: if the student didn’t pass the quiz of a lesson with a quiz, the lesson’s navigation bar should keep locked, until they pass it and show an alert with something like, “you must need to pass the quiz.”
2: if lesson isn’t mark as complete, the lesson’s navigation bar should keep locked and show an alert with “You need to complete the lesson to go to the next.”
Cheers,
