Locked backups deleted automatically

    Hello

    So, I tried multiple times to lock certain backups. And every time they get deleted automatically. I retain 5 backups usually. Should the locked backups not be retained permanently until I delete them manually?

    Is there some additional box I need to check?

    Please advise

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback. We will check on this soon.

    To lock a backup, you can either check the checkbox right under the “Backup Now” button before creating a manual backup, or click on the “lock” icon of a backup in backup list.

    Btw, do you use the lock feature often? in which scenario do you always use it? Actually we are considering removing it in a future release.

    thank you for replying quickly.

    I did lock backups both ways, and they don`t get retained.

    I use the feature a lot, especially after finishing a project.
    I need to retain a specific backup.
    Lets say I am away for 10 days, and something on a site broke. I don`t know when the site broke, but I do know that I have a locked backup from 14 days ago when the site was working fine. So I need to restore that exact backup from remote storage.
