    Hi All,
Anyone who got a fix besides of deactivating wordfence?
I’ve got this issue that whenever i login on my admin account

    error: Invalid login details

I’ve renamed the plugin folder in wp-content. and i were able to login
Then to test my theory it’s wordfence causing this. I’ve created a new admin user without MFA
The new admin user is able to login without mfa
Old admin is stuck at previous picture with MFA

Hi @kenzum, thanks for getting in touch.

Could I just clarify (as you’ve tested already successfully with Wordfence turned off), whether you still experience this message when Wordfence (with 2FA enabled) is the only plugin enabled? If not, try reenabling your plugins one-by-one to see when it fails with this message again to find the cause.

I have a suspicion that the “Invalid login details” message is caused by a third-party plugin because I’ve only found a few references to it in relation to WordPress around the web, and after a repository check, it’s not one of the messages coded into Wordfence.

If nothing seems to help, it may assist us to see a report from the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics menu. You can send that to us at wftest @ wordfence . com. Click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Thanks,
    Peter.

    Hi,

I’ve just sendt the diagnostics as you’ve instructed.

Wordfence are the only security plugin i currently have on the website.
Every time i enable MFA on an admin it can’t log in until the mfa have been disabled.
