Locking the aspect ratio for thumbnails

We are trying out your plugin on our new home page. Our last home page was responsive, but didn’t have a slider carousel. We love the Netflix like functionality, however the aspect ratio constantly changes for the thumbnails, cutting off text in the thumbs. Our previous design had locked aspect for thumbnails. We’d like to lock the aspect ratio- instead just dynamic for the text/box height. Is there a setting for this, or an easy way to get this to work? Thanks so much for this excellent plug-in, so far feedback is really positive on the redesign!
