    I just survived a client’s website crash that lasted hours. Turns out the issue was Simple History: “Simple History plugin is trying to add a considerable number of database entries before, which caused the too many connection error with the database”.

    I know you have to make money from the efforts taken to make this and keep it working. However, I have a humble request for the free version: As you have a limit in days for log removal, please add a limit to the number of logs it saves before removal too.

    Sorry to hear about this! The plugin does log all login attempts so my guess is that you had a very large number of login attempts? That is the only thing that is logged for non-logged in users. I will add this to my todo list, to add functionality that prevents issues like this from happening.

    Thank you for your empathy. That’s exactly what happened. The login attempts have always been crazy – its one of the reasons I installed your plugin, to keep track and block whatever username is being tried consistently.
