• Thanks for the plugin.

I am experiencing a problem when using the plugin on desktop and mobile.

When the log via username option is selected, ratings in desktop cannot be changed when using the site in mobile (“.. no permission to unlike ..”).

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

  • I think I’m experiencing the same issue but I’m not sure. I’m still setting up my site and only have 2 users (an admin and a test subscriber). I liked a handful of posts as the admin, logged out and logged in as the test user. I tried liking some posts as the test user. I tried on posts I previously liked as the admin to see the count go from 1 to 2, I also tried liking posts that were not previously liked to see the count go from 0 to 1. I am able to like posts that were not previously liked but the admin user, but for posts that were previously liked, I received the message “you do not have permission to like”. When I log back in as the admin user, I am unable to like a post that the test user liked. Basically, only one person is able to like a post.

I also had that experience. The plugin seems mostly to work, but I think it’s logging IP addresses and or cookies in addition to usernames and complicating use when testing. Seems to work fine for other users, but I haven’t fiddled much with a desktop/mobile playtest.
