logging in as adminstrator

Just starting. I have email with user name and password. Sugetsted learning is to log in as administrator and test drive administration panels. I cannot find anywhere how to log in. Can someone help me with instructions on logging in as administrator?. Using the link in the welcome email doesn’t do that.
