Hello,

The WordPress.com Jetpack setting ‘Allow users to log in to this site using WordPress.com accounts’, no longer allows a user to log in. Others are unaffected.
This likely has to do with the same issue from my other recent post for help: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/email-folllowers-are-gone/

I confirmed that the email used on the self hosted site and the wordpress.com account profile match. I’m guessing I broke something within Jetpack when staging my my site changes.

Once again, any help would be most appreciated.

Hello,

Currently, Jetpack connection on your site is good and you have only Jetpack as an active plugin. Do you see any specific error message when trying to connect Jetpack?

If possible, we suggest reconnecting your site again and let us know if the issue is still there https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/#disconnecting-jetpack

In case, the issue is still there, we will need to ask you to submit your request to our ticket system, then look at your site directly.

I disconnected and reconnected as per your instructions. And now it works, thanks so much for your help.
