Logic behind Cache Tags

Is there any logic behind how cache plugin generates prefix for cache tags? I see a number for prefix. What is this number based on?

The reason why I ask for it is, that I develop an alternative crawler. It’s almost finished, but to purge the cache I need the cache tag to only purge the cache that is generated by the plugin. Otherwise I purge the entire cache and this no good.
