When I deactivate AAM plugin, users can log anew again.

After few tests, I discover that whenever I modify login redirect for a certain user role, using Redirected to existing page (select from the drop-down) or Redirected to the URL (enter full URL starting from http or https) the login will fail and bring back user to login screen. I checked also to clear up browser, and log out user everywhere, but won’t work.
Unless I set login redirect on “WordPress default behavior” nothing else would work.
Hi @kohp,
That is correct as the main idea for blocked user is restrict the ability to login. Can you please clarify what do you mean?

Vasyl

Sorry. you’re right. I over used the term. I meant ACTIVE USERS… not blocked one.
So, an active user can not login whenever the login redirect function is set for a certain role using Redirected to existing page (select from the drop-down) or Redirected to the URL (enter full URL starting from http or https)
But user would be able to log again if left to ” “WordPress default behavior”
Beside it, another issue is that can not get the Social Pluggin to work for permitting people to log in with their social ID.
ConfigPress shows that it is not compatible with current WP. So was wondering if you do have a manual way to set up keys and APIs
(I’m an amateur user)
hi @kohp,
What Social Plugin are you using so we can test it and investigate.
And regarding the ConfigPress issue, what WP version and AAM version are you currently on right now?
