    Thanks for getting in touch about this.

    Independent Analytics ignores logged-in visitors by default, but there is a checkbox you can click to enable tracking of logged-in visitors. You can also choose which user roles you want to track. For instance, you can ignore activity from admins while tracking activity from Subscribers.

    In the analytics, we don’t have a way to show stats for guests vs. logged-in visitors, but we may add a feature like this in a future update.

    Thank you, @bensibley. I had noticed you had mentioned this option in the FAQ content. May I confirm that selecting it prompts the plugin to lump visits from those who are and are not logged in into a single count? I just want to make sure that choosing this option still allows visitors who are not logged in to be included in the count.

    Yes, we don’t have a way to count logged-in visitors separately, so all visitors are a part of the same count. If your site is visited by 5 guests and 5 logged-in members, it will be counted as 10 visitors.
