Login Loop (FOR CUSTOMERS)

Hi, we’ve seen solutions for this issue for admins redirect loop, but not for customers.

We manage a LMS site, so customers are required to login to get access to the course content. They go to https://lostcreatoracademy.com/login, then redirect to https://lostcreatoracademy.com/my-account/ where they have access to the course material. However, customers are hitting the login page, then redirected to my-account but not actually logged in. This typically happens on the customers second time logging in.

We believe this is completely down to stored cookies, as when customers clear their cookies, it works. However, we have over 2,000 members, so this isn’t a sustainable solution to keep telling them to do.

We’ve added a plugin that removes the stored login cookie on log out, which we thought was working, but we’ve found new members (who joined after the plugin was added) still have to clear their cookies to get back in.

We’ve also run other troubleshooting, such as disabling W3 Total Cache, WP Cerber, and varnish, among others. However, those are likely not the issue since it’s still happening.
