Login Lost Password Infinite Loop with "invalidkey" Link Error

    I have a single site install and on staging site there are no problems with Lost Password. It doesn’t use SSL on the staging site.

    On the live site, I’m using SSL only on login and dashboard pages, and have iThemes checked to force SSL on the login and dashboard areas.

    My problem is when people click the Lost Password link and it sends an email with a rest password link, when the reset password link is loaded it results in the following URL loading:

    https://www.domain.com/user-login/?action=lostpassword&error=invalidkey

    Then it loads the Lost Password page again and has the error “The login information entered is incorrect.”

    It’s basically a loop that never results in reaching the Password Reset page.

    I found this post about it, but I’m still not sure how to resolve this.
