Login needs 3 clicks

    Hi,

    when i use a customer to login, i need to press the login button multiple times before anything happens.

    When i use a admin login, i can login with 1 click, as it should be.

    Any idea what this could be?

    Hi @deanlavastica, thanks for getting in touch.

    This is a strange one as I’m not sure why the admin/customer status would change the button click behavior in advance. I would certainly try reverting your theme to a default such as Twenty Twenty-Four and disabling your other plugins except for Wordfence. If the behavior returns to 1-click for everybody, reenable your plugins and theme one-by-one to see if something is causing the behavior to come back.

    Let us know if it continues with only Wordfence enabled.

    Hi,

    thanks for the reply. Could it have anything to do with the fact that the admin has 2fa enabled? When i click login as an admin, i get the prompt for my 2fa code first, and after that i login.

    A customer does not have the 2fa enabled.

    Hi @deanlavastica,

    If 2FA is enabled for admins, or certain other roles it shouldn’t affect the login process for those that don’t. Were there any differing results when disabling your plugins and theme that might point to another issue on the front end?
