When logging in to my admin using Opera (45.0.2552.812), I get the error message ‘login not secure’. There is a warning that sensitive information could be stolen. This has only started happening this week. Understandably, I have not proceeded further.
But logging in via Edge, there is no such message. Obviously that’s an easy work around for now, but maybe some day that will give an error too.
How can I get to log back in via Opera, and future-proof Edge?
My two sites are both http not https sites. They are not used for commerce.

Current browsers (at least Chrome and sites that use chrome’s internals like Opera) report any non-SSL site that has a password field as insecure. This is a browser thing, not a WP thing. The only long term solution is to obtain an SSL certificate and switch your site over to using HTTPS. Many hosts now offer LetsEncrypt’s free certificates.

Thanks Steve, I don’t think my host offers free certificates but it looks like something I can sort out. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
