Thank you Tom for that. I guess I am confused. Here is the issue.

    My website: bigjmart.com

At the top, I have 2 links, a ‘join today’ link and a ‘my account’ link.

When users go to the site they can click on join now and register (which currently is not working). When they go to ‘my account’ it should show a login box (which now it does with the shortcode provided above). Once the user is logged in successfully, they should see the protected content. How do I re-direct the user to this protected page?

Is there someone who I can hire to go in and configure this for me so I have it working properly? I would appreciate the help on this. I love the plugin and know it will eventually work for me!!! 🙂 Thank you Tom!

Thank you Tom for the response. I have applied the shortcode to the login page. I must be confused because I am still having some issues. Perhaps you could help me configure the plugin.

At the top of the page, you will see 2 links. A ‘join today’ and a ‘my account’ link. These link to the plugin so people can join the site and login to see the protected content.

I have applied the shortcode you provided me with to the ‘my account’ page and now people see a login box. Thanks for that shortcode!

But now I am confused because when the user logs in they see a page that says ‘you are logged in as XXXXXX, click here to sign out’. I want the member to see the password protected content. How do I configure it so when the user logs in successfully, they are directed to this page and content?

The page that users should be allowed to get to is:
    http://bigjmart.com/account-2/

It is a password protected site through the Membership 2 Plugin. But when I am logged out of my membership account, I can still view the page.

What am I doing wrong? Can I privately hire someone to configure my site properly? I am willing to pay.

Hello Bigjmart1, I hope you are doing well!

Once the user is logged in successfully, they should see the protected content. How do I re-direct the user to this protected page?

To redirect member after login to the protected page, use the login shortcode with redirect attribute.

    [ms-membership-login redirect_login="http://bigjmart.com/account-2/"]

There is also a full library of shortcodes that you may find useful in Memebrship 2 > Help > Shortcodes.

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    Nastia
