Login problem

I have a very weird problem.
I submitted my user and password name in the login pane, and somehow it replied in an error that the user/email is incorrect. though i used it over and over that last few days.
i clicked the ‘forgot password’ but somehow i don’t get it to my mail and it still gives the ERROR: Enter a username or e-mail address.
how can i enter my site??
Please advice- it’s URGENT
