I have 5 staff working from same office, one of them forgets there password and enters too many times then gets locked out; i do however noticed, all 5 staff got locked out – reason being they share same internet gateway.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? instead of banning IPs, can we ban user?

Hi @charlie2022

I hope you are doing good today.

In Defender -> Firewall -> Login Protection you can ban automatically usernames, however, when it comes to banning who log in incorrectly it relies on IP.

In Defender -> Firewall -> IP Banning -> IP Addresses you can use ALLOWLIST box to whitelist this IP. Also, remove this IP from the BLOCKLIST box.
