I too wish to offer my thanks for the toolkit and express a similar issue with the redirect. The wrinkle for me is that I am using Paidmembership Pro and when my members login they are automatically redirected to http://websiteurl/members/membername.
So, I’m not sure if my problem is the same but… Given PMPRo is involved, is there any way for that add-on to actually work for me?

To answer your questions, no, our login redirect will always be overridden if you have other plugins that can be doing redirects on the site. If that’s the case, just disable our login redirect module and rely on the other plugin’s redirect, since it’s more likely that you can’t turn it off in the other plugin.
Examples of plugins that might conflict include Peter’s Login Redirect, UserPro and Theme My Login; even themes like BuddyBoss and plugins like PMPro.
Our login redirect will only work on clean sites where no other plugin or theme might be inserting a redirect of its own.
To test if our redirect really isn’t working, try disabling all plugins except LearnDash and our Toolkit , the change to a WordPress default theme. If it works in that scenario, try reenabling plugins until you figure out which one is overriding our redirect.
Hashim, in your case, can you confirm which page users are redirected to? If it’s not their profile page, something on your side is definitely overriding our redirect.
Since there haven’t been any updates for over a week, I’m going to go ahead and close this thread. I expect another plugin was overriding our redirects.
Hi Uncanny owl – we’re experiencing a similar problem – a problem with a login/logout redirect. Our issue however, is that when we log out – it doesn’t log us out – it looks like it does, site refreshes and then alas, we’re still logged in.
we did have Theme my login installed. But I believe we’ve uninstalled it….thoughts?
