Login/Registration redirecting

I’ve installed the plugin and set up the forum, but then when testing to see if users can register, the login and registration links in the menu bar just don’t work, they go to 404s within wpforo and then the login button eventually directs after the 3rd or 4th click to the right page, but the register link is redirecting into the blog.

Can you tell me how to resolve please?

I’ve checked the redirects on site and there’s none in place for wpforo or community links, but I can’t have a forum if there’s no where for users to register??
