• Starting yesterday, the login screen to my company’s blog (http://blog.partypail.com) only loads a blank page. I can’t log in at all. I’ve tried in Firefox, IE, Chrome, and Safari, with no luck. Has anybody else had this same problem? How might I fix it?

  • I am having the same trouble- since last night. I cannot log in from any computer. It loads a blank page as well. All of the help I have read online seems to require you to be logged in. I’m freaking out. I hope someone helps us!

Hm. Have you tried clearing out your caches?

Can you see the site itself?

Are you going to http://blog.partypail.com/wp-login? Or http://blog.partypail.com/wp-admin? The former is working for me. The latter loads a blank page.

I have cleared my cache, which didn’t help. I’ve been going to http://blog.partypail.com/wp-admin, and it does not load at all. I tried going to http://blog.partypail.com/wp-login, and while the login screen loaded, after I input the login information, a blank screen loaded.

I’ve been in touch with our hosting company, and they said there was a corruption to our index file, but when they reverted back to an old version of the file (when the blog login was working) it didn’t fix the problem.

Our programmers who created the blog itself are going to look into it, but won’t be able to until sometime in January, so if anybody has any other advice in the meantime, I’d be very grateful!

Write down all things you do so your consultant can have a clue of what happened.

Probably going over the standard debugging steps will help:
    – Change theme to 2011
    – Disable all plugins. enable one by one till page goes blank again..
    and of course you could
Reload fresh copy of wp except for /wp-content folder and wp-config.php…
