    Hi @evenstevenswe,

Please go to the Ultimate member -> Settings -> Setup and make sure you’ve correctly assigned your pages e.g. login page. Go to your Login page and check whether you have a login form shortcode there you can find this shortcode in Ultimate member -> Forms and your login form.

    Regards.

Thanks for you reply! However, this doesn’t solve my issue.

I’ll try to explain again, the page I’m building is only stored locally at the moment. I have made a startpage outside of WordPress and that’s where I want to have my login form. I’ve added the shortcode and so far so good.

But, when the plugin is active I cannot login to the admin panel. I get redirected and the login that shows is for the UM members, it somehow replaces the wordpress admin login. To get around this I have no choice but to rename the folder so the plugin won’t start. When I’m logged in, I rename the folder again and reload so that I can work with the plugin.

Now, I’m fairly new to WordPress and of course It’s something that I do wrong, but what? I really can’t figure this out.

Surely there must be a way to have the plugin active and still be able to login to the admin area right?

    Hi @evenstevenswe,

Ultimate member hides wp-admin for not logged in users for security reasons, in order to login to the WP dashboard you have to login with admin credentials(using login page) and then go to the /wp-admin page. You can disable this feature in Ultimate member -> Settings -> Access and turn ON – Allow Backend Login Screen for Guests.

    Regards.
