logo above title

    Hi,

    i would like to have in my Goran theme in my header both logo (header image) and site title – logo above the title. If i choose the site title it is ok, visible. But when i add the header image (logo), the title seems to overlap my title, this is the result:

    i just started building the site, the logo would be smaller, but i tried also with smaller, and all i get in lower header, still no site title.

    I would really appreciate your tip on how to solve this – thanks!

    Hi Alina,

    I can see your logo in the upper left hand of http://www.epak.si. Have you also entered a Site Title via Appearance > Customize > Site Title, Tagline, and Logo?

    If so, make sure that the “Display Site Title and Tagline” box is checked.

    If the title appears overlapped, can you keep it saved on your site and reply back so that I can take a look into what’s happening?

    Hi Siobhan,

    yes, i have both – also the Title is there and the box checked…

    If i go to “Identity of site” (translated from my language should be the same as Site title, taglaine, logo…—-> in this section i have :
    – site title (i have written in it)
    – slogan (empty)
    – box checked so that title is dispayed
    – here i don’t have “logo” but “icone” —> the image that appears in search tab

    I added logo is+n section “head image” —> this is the image “M” that you see on the page

    In wordpress.com it was different (logo was in the same section…)

    Hi Alina,

    Hm, this is strange as I have not been able to replicate any trouble displaying the Site Title on my own installation of Goran.

    “Site Identity” is the default name of that first panel in the Customizer, however, its name should change to “Site Title, Tagline, and Logo” when Jetpack is active. The option of adding a Site Logo is also enabled with the use of Jetpack.

    I can see that you already have Jetpack installed on your site but it sounds like there may be an issue with its connection. Could you try disconnecting/connecting?

    In addition, do you have any other plugins that may be interfering with your site’s header section? Try deactivating all of your plugins (excluding Jetpack) one by one to see if any are hiding your Site Title.

    If all else fails, activate one of the default themes (such as Twenty Sixteen) to see if the Site Title displays there. If it does, delete your existing copies of Edin (Goran’s parent theme) and Goran then reinstall fresh copies.

    Hi Siobhan,

    i took everything down and installed again and now it works just fine 🙂 I think Jetpack was the problem, not activated completely.
