Make sure you have updated to v1.1.0
I have Jetpack installed, and when I go to Customizer, I’m able to upload a logo, but the logo doesn’t show up yet. Then I click Save and exit the customizer.
Once I go back into the customizer, the new logo shows: http://d.pr/i/3VSs/5tomx2Xb
Interesting. I got to work this morning and noticed both local and live site wanted to update the theme to Version 1.1.1.
I did that to both locations. Then both failed to show the logo.
So, i uninstalled the plugin “site-logo” and installed Jetpack on the live site. And bang after a bit the logo appeared as it was supposed to.
But the instructions for the theme state you are to use the “site-logo” plugin. Maybe the instructions should be looked over?
Thanks for the heads up on Jetpack, tho i have no idea as to why that is making the logo option available. 🙂

I don’t think our instructions say to install the site-logo plugin? If so, please point out where it says so 🙂

Oh, I see what I did. Look at the image for the instruction set about adding my logo. At the bottom of the callout box it says “Add a custom logo using the Site Logo plugin”.
So i looked up “Site Logo” and there happened to be an old plugin with that name.
My bad. 🙂
Yeah the old plugin was moved into JetPack 🙂
