Logo spacing.

I’m using the virtue premium theme and I’ve made a childtheme. I succesfully added these.

@media (min-width: 940px) { .topbarmenu ul li a {font-size: 22px;} }

.contentclass{ margin-top:500px; }

.footerclass { padding-bottom:250px; }

But when I’m trying different codes to increase the top logo spacing none of them works. I have tried figuring them out through Chrome developer tool but no luck.
