Logo support

I am a relatively new user of wordpress and I am still in the process of converting my current website into a wordpress one mainly for the automatic responsive nature of most themes.

I am enjoying trying out different themes and also beginning to get used to customizing and editing themes.

My only complaint about wordpress in general is the lack of support to add a logo to so many themes.

I haven’t actually researched it but I would hazard a guess and say that the vast majority of websites have a logo in the header. Given this, why is it that so many theme designers / developers omit this from their projects?

Also, there isn’t any way to filter out themes that don’t offer this functionality in the theme filter search.

I feel a bit bad about complaining in my first ever post here because I am very impressed by the huge range of free resources within the wordpress community and the obvious hard work that so many people do for the benefit of others.
