After entering about 3 redirects on the plugin page, it takes quite while before the “add new redirect” button is enabled again. This happens after every added redirect now. I don’t know if there’s some URL checking going on in the background, but we’re talking 60-90 seconds between each addition before the add button is active again.

    Hi,
Do you have a large number of posts/pages on that site?

Nope. New site getting rebuilt from scratch. About 30 pages and 4 posts.

There’s nothing happening in the background and the only thing that could be causing this is a large number (a few thousand) of pages/posts which you don’t have 🙁

We’re looking into this, but honestly, never had this problem before.

That is odd. But on the plus side, I really only need to set up 301s very occasionally. If I had to do a lot of them often it would be an issue. If I had to do this for a few thousand pages I’d probably just shoot myself 😃

If I need to set up any more I’ll try to capture some video for you.

All good. Even with the delays, your plugin made my life a lot easier for this task. Thanks!

Glad to hear it’s not all bad 🙂
If you can get us that video at some point that would be great 👍

I’ve left this open in our internal bug tracker so guys will keep working on it.
