Long file names

    Hi,
    BackWpUp is working truly fine backing up to my FTP server, but I’m having a bit of trouble with long file names (sometimes users upload images with really, really long file names). Any solution to this?

    I’ve tried using compression formats other than tar.gz but they either don’t work, or take too long to compress (ZIP).

    BTW I’m running on a GoDaddy VPS.

    Also, CPANEL does not seem to have any problems creating tar.gz files with long file names. They get compressed and decompressed correctly.
