Looking for a specific category archive plugin

    Hey,

    i’m looking for a plugin to make an archive on the sidebar just for one category. i’ve seen kwebble’s plugin but it doesnt seem to work for me. i’d need something easier, maybe. i’d be happy with any help, links.

    You get a perfect plugin for this in wordpress plugin repository , if you search for “category posts widget” 🙂

    hi,

    it shows the most recent entries of a category. but i’m looking for a month-archive for only one category – plugin.

    I’ve got this working , but I cant show you an example since I’m working on a client site

    kwebble’s plugin will work

    Download http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/advanced-text-widget/

    and put this in the body of the widget

    <?php wp_get_archives(‘cat=id’); ?>

    replace the id with the category you want to show

    That should work

    I’ll be happy to create a test site on my server to show you its working if you still need help
