Looking for a theme

Hi,
I am looking for a simple theme, that doesn’t take much to load, but I need it to have a frontpage that allows me to show a few posts from each category. And the sections are
to be divided by category. The thumbnail images on the left and excerpts on the right.I have been searching for days, and I’ve got a few with thumbnails positioning like these, but no segmentation by categories. I have 3 categories to display.
Something similar I found was Greatmag theme’s Latest Post section, but I want category post instead of latest posts.
If anyone has recommendation of any theme that looks like it, please let me know.

Hello Nee. I was just checking some of the two premium magazine themes I have to confirm if they indeed have what you are looking for. Kindly check out Barcelona (https://themeforest.net/item/barcelona-clean-news-magazine-wordpress-theme/13308848) and GOLIATH (https://themeforest.net/item/goliath-ads-optimized-news-reviews-magazine/9670200) though the first one has a section of categories and it could be what you are looking for.

Basically you’re looking for a “FREE” theme that works because you are cheap and won’t invest in your future.
May I suggest you invest in Artisteer. Not totally perfect but the closest tool I’ve seen for themes and templates. We use it at http://www.hoststlucia.com we are developing http://www.stluciaonline.biz amongst others.
I don’t get paid for this, just trying to help.
Buiild your own unique template and then work out why it’s not working. Works 99% of the time for me.
