• Hi,

I’m looking for a free WordPress hosting for testing my site. WordPress pre-installed is preferred. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  • There are plenty of free hosts available (a Google search for “free hosting” will give you a number of hits) but I doubt any of them have WordPress pre-installed.

Also note that even though they’re free, they do come with a price. Either lots of ads/popups, or a very user-unfriendly user interface, or the lack of FTP access, etc.

You’d probably be better off getting a super cheap host (Bluehost or Hostgator offer very cheap packages), which will have at least a good basis, or just install everything locally on your own computer.

Jushost.com offer super cheap hosting. Mark is right, you might be better off installing it locally on your computer using local servers like WAMP (for Windows) or MAMP (for mac).

Anyone use free WordPress hosting from wpnode.net?
