I have found a possible bug.

When I click on external links created by the plugin, there is a loop/bacon created that causes loads of clicks.

In the link I have added to the post, if you click on the link for “kycklingfilé” in the description that is a link generated by the plugin.

Check dev tools > network and filter by as= then you will notice that the call is made multiple times.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hej webkocken,

Thanks for reporting this — and good catch noticing the repeated calls!

However, i think that this behavior isn’t caused by the Internal Links Manager plugin itself. The script you mentioned (https://cdn.adt523.net/atag.js?as=1080795702) belongs to Adtraction, an affiliate or ad-tracking service. That script hooks into your links, adds or modifies tracking parameters, and sends multiple requests back to Adtraction’s servers to register clicks and manage cookies/fingerprinting.

So, what you’re seeing in DevTools (the repeated “as=” requests) comes from that external tracking script — not from our plugin. The Internal Links Manager only outputs standard HTML links; it doesn’t execute or repeat network calls.

So it seems that this is related to your affiliate earnings.

If you want to confirm this, you can temporarily disable the Adtraction script and reload the page. You’ll hopefully see that the loop disappears while our links continue to work normally.
