loosing text formating

I am losing all my text formatting when i “save draft”. I am trying to indent text, double space and generally control the look of text. I have created the structure and look I want in word and pasted it. I have also created it in the editor as well and all formatting seems to disappear when I save the draft. I am thinking that this is controlled somewhere in the style sheet, but i don’t know.

Extra spacing is cleaned up. Even in editing straight HTML extra spacing between words and letters is reduced to one space. You can use button from TinyMCE Advanced plugin. It also option to stop removing extra line spaces.

what about the other issues I am having. Like when i bullet or indent it gets erased as well. My bullets end up within my photo. Can you help me with that?

This is more likely a CSS style issue on the site verses what you see in WYSIWYG. Provide a link to your site or page with the bullets or other programs and either I or something that comes along may help.

I circumvent these kind of editing problems by installing the Dean’s FCK Editor on all WordPress blogs that I manage. It offers a bunch of editing features that the default WordPress Editor does not provide.

Try adding:

ul li {list-style-position:inside;}

to the bottom of your theme’s stylesheet.

Well, I have tried the FCK Editor and it seemed to help with double spacing and that is great. I also put ul li {list-style-position:inside;} at the bottom of the style sheet, but unfortunately the bullets are still in the photo. I am not sure what to do about that. I so appreciate the help and info.
