yes, that is base url we use through yahoo business. The other URl is what we use for business itself. I apologize, http://www.breathittonline.com/blog is the correct URL
Willywiz69, would you please change your theme to a default WordPress theme like 2015 & see if that fixes the problem?
If not, could you please rename your plugin folder by adding a 1 or an .old to the end of its name, using your ftp client or file manager provided by your host & see if that helps?
Also, your /blog folders & others beneath it may have files in it called error_log. Do you see any errors around the time you noticed you were having trouble?
The last time I saw this type of behavior, the site was in fact compromised, but I’m not at all willing to conclude that’s the case w/yours.
If I change it, will I be able to go back to the Newspaper theme? I really like that one. This all started when I did the word press updates. It seems like every time I do an update I lose something else. I do not get any error messages. Can you give me a little more detail on exactly what to rename and where. Thank you so much for your assistance
I changed the plugins to both ways you requested and lost photos on main pages but not in articles.Also going through files and do not see any error logs

Are you using a child theme? I see an importurl.
The thing is:
a) If you are indeed using a child theme, then perhaps updating it will help.
b) If there is an incompatibility, & they haven’t updated the theme, you might be out of luck–but check–it’s a premium theme, so hopefully they’re still developing it.
I made all the changes you requested. On my dashboard, I still did not have media library, no stats and no comments. The themes are loading same information on each one, but the dashboard never changed. I got the theme from WordPress NewsPaper Theme by GabfireThemes
Willywiz69, importurl means that something is being imported from another url–usually indicates a child theme.
I’m really a bit concerned about this Viva-ThumbZoom plugin because I’m not seeing anywhere that it can be purchased anymore. So I suspect it might be seriously out of date.
Would another plugin replace its functionality?
Lastly, please let us see your .htaccess file from the root of your site–seems some interesting things are going on w/your urls, etc.

It’s in your breathittonline.com/ folder. Please make sure hidden files are viewable in your file manager or ftp client.
What are you using to view files? Have you ensured that hidden files are visible? Might there be 1 under breathittonline.com/blog ?
