Losing template assignment

    I have a strange bug in 3.8.1

    I am using a theme that you need to assign templates to pages. So far so good, but once a safari or a chrome accesses the admin, it loses some or all the template page definitions (reverts them to default template).

    Has anyone experienced the same? I am trying to find a solution, because my next one is to revert back to 3.7.1 (3.8 does the same)

    My main plugins are the WPML (main, translation management, media manager, string translation).

    I have the same problem, and I use also WPML.
    Have you tested with Firefox and the problem did not appear?

    In firefox everything is ok, so do (surprisingly) in IE9+
    I switched back to 3.7.1, all is fine (it annoys me though).
